Don't mess with who?????

Don't mess with Texas.  We've all heard it, and very honest I respect Texas for not putting up with crap.  I have another place that I feel very similar about, but for very different reasons.

Don't mess with Israel.  I don't care what persuasion you are whether it be Christian, Jew, or Muslim-- well I'm not so sure about Muslim because you aren't looking at the same set of scriptures.  Anyway beyond the fact that Israel is pretty savvy where protecting itself is concerned, they are kinda in a unique place that no other country can claim.

Going back to Genesis God himself gave the land that would later become Israel to Abraham.  Abraham was from Ur and God sent him out along with his father and nephew to Canaan (four hundred plus years later would be Israel).  He continued the promise to Sarah's only son Isaac, and then to the younger son of Isaac, Jacob.

Now Jacob was a feisty fellow.  Ultimately he battled all night with an angel and got his hip knocked out of joint and also got his name changed-- to guess what?  Yep you guessed it Israel.  First thought, he lived to tell about it.  One more reason not to mess with Israel.  But let's go on with my quick biblical history lesson.

Alright because of a famine Israel's clan move to Egypt because of Joseph they were protected and loved until they were so massive (about a million men-- literally) that the Pharaoh that was now watching over Egypt didn't remember what Joseph did for his forefather. Moses was born and hid then became the son of  Pharaoh's daughter. He saw the plight of his people (they were now slaves) and went crazy on an Egyptian beating an Israelite.  He was forty at the time and he left for forty years until God called him back to lead God's people out of Egypt to their own land (Israel).  There's a bunch of plagues and finally Moses led them out and they were led by a cloud in the day and fire at night.

Now is there any question here whether it was God leading them?  How about at the crossing of the Red Sea?  When the Egyptians tried to seize them and got stuck and drowned?  Does anyone really want to mess with God's people?  It doesn't end well for those who do.

Let's go a little further.  So Israel is in their land, and different nations come to mess with them.  Do you know what happens to those nations?  As long as Israel is listening to God those countries are in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Now Israel had times they chose to not listen to God and they were disposed of their land, but still those that tried to eradicate them or do them harm came to their own untimely end.  Think of Haman in Persia to name one.  His whole line was killed in one day.  You just don't mess with God's people.

Jesus was an Israelite.  Even as Christians, respecting Israel is a good thing.  Scripture tells us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.  Even in the end times Jesus returns in defense of Israel.  Do you think it will end well for America if we stop being a friend to Israel?

Just think about it. They are God's people.  He said so more than two thousand years ago, and he's not like us where he changes his mind.  Yes he gave Jesus.  We were added in, that doesn't remove Israel.  Pray for Israel, and stand with them so that it will go well with you.  Because personally I don't want to work against God.  I like God being on my side of things.  After all He is the master of the universe-- the ultimate superhero.  So going with God's people is a good thing.  It comes down to this------- Don't mess with Israel. ----- Plain and simple.  It won't go well if you do.

This is Cat out--- Standing with Israel.
